Your Household's Records,
Mapped Across Generations
Heirloom Path offers facilitated workshops and programmes that help Malaysian households organise family names, places, dates, objects, and photographs into structured printed catalogues and timeline documents — a long-running reference for every generation to come.
Three Ways to Begin Cataloguing
Each programme is organisational and curatorial. None interprets documents or drafts legal papers. The work is yours to keep — in print, in order, across the generations.
Family Timeline Setup Workshop
A three-hour workshop in which a household sketches out a printed family timeline — names, places, and dates across generations — serving as a long-running reference document. Curatorial and organisational throughout.
- Single three-hour session
- Printed family timeline document
- Names, places, and dates mapped
- No document interpretation
Four-Session Heritage Catalogue Programme
Four sessions over two months to catalogue family heritage — objects, photographs, and documents — into a structured printed catalogue with photographs and short notes. Organisational and curatorial sessions only.
- Four facilitated sessions
- Structured printed catalogue
- Objects, photos, and documents covered
- No professional counsel provided
Annual Records and Heritage Programme
A year-long programme keeping a household's records folder and heritage catalogue current through quarterly facilitated sessions — setup, three check-ins, and a closing annual review. Organisational throughout.
- Five sessions across twelve months
- Records folder maintained quarterly
- Updated heritage catalogue at year end
- Closing annual review session
What a Catalogued Household Gains
Organising a household's records is a long-horizon act. These are the practical and generational outcomes households take away from our programmes.
A Single Reference Point
One printed catalogue holds all the names, dates, places, and objects that previously lived across scattered drawers, phones, and memory. Every household member can find the same information in the same place.
A Readable Generation Map
The family timeline document traces your household across generations in a format that children and grandchildren can read years from now — without needing to reconstruct what was lost.
An Organised Records Folder
Physical documents, certificates, and household papers are sorted into a structured folder with a clear index. Finding a specific paper no longer requires searching through boxes.
Quarterly Upkeep Built In
The annual programme includes check-in sessions so the records folder and catalogue stay current as the household changes — new arrivals, relocations, and transitions are added each quarter.
A Calm, Guided Process
Our facilitated sessions give the process structure without rushing it. Households move at a pace that allows reflection, not just sorting — which produces a more complete and accurate catalogue.
Non-Advisory by Design
Heirloom Path does not interpret documents, draft papers, or provide professional counsel. The programme is purely organisational — which means households can engage it alongside any existing professional relationships.
Where do your household's records stand today?
A printed timeline and a structured catalogue take one session to begin. Heirloom Path walks your household through the entire process — from scattered papers to a finished, usable reference.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does "curatorial and organisational" mean in practice?
It means our sessions help you sort, label, arrange, and document what already exists in your household — names, dates, objects, photographs, and papers. We do not read your documents to extract legal or financial meaning, nor do we draft any new documents on your behalf. The output is always a printed catalogue or timeline that you own and can share.
How many people from a household can attend a session?
Sessions are designed for one household and typically work best with two to four family members present. Having multiple generations in the room often produces a more complete record — especially for the family timeline, where different members hold different pieces of the story.
What materials do we need to bring to the first session?
Whatever your household already has — a box of photographs, a folder of old papers, a phone full of family photos, or simply the memories of the people present. There is no minimum requirement. We begin with what you bring and build structure around it over the course of the programme.
Does the programme handle my documents on my behalf?
No. Heirloom Path does not take possession of original documents, process any paperwork, or interact with government agencies, financial institutions, or legal bodies on your behalf. Documents remain entirely in your hands throughout. We help you decide how to label, organise, and reference them in your own catalogue.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions are held at our Kuala Lumpur office at 33 Persiaran Stonor, 50450 Kuala Lumpur. For the annual programme, we can discuss session arrangements to suit the household's schedule and location preference at the time of booking.
How long before we receive the printed catalogue or timeline?
For the workshop, a draft printed timeline is produced within five working days of the session. For the Heritage Catalogue Programme, a working catalogue is compiled progressively across the four sessions, with a final printed version delivered within ten working days of the last session.
What is the cost of each programme?
The Family Timeline Setup Workshop is RM 540 for a single three-hour session. The Four-Session Heritage Catalogue Programme is RM 1,820 across two months. The Annual Records and Heritage Programme is RM 4,560 for a full twelve-month engagement. All prices are inclusive of the printed catalogue or timeline deliverable.
